Operations: Overview
RIG’s current operations include drilling and workover in the Tomsk region and supervision in Kazakhstan on Imperial’s oil fields.
The company has its own separate offices and facilities in Tomsk and a service centre in Strezhevoy (Tomsk region), from where it deploys its assets throughout the region.
Rigs 501 and 502 are operating on Imperial’s Snezhnoye and Kiev-Eganskoye fields respectively. Workover rig KRS-1 is deployed at the Snezhnoye field. It is also planned to operate Rig 503 at the Snezhnoye field.
Major Targets for 2008
- Delivering all standard wells (out-step 1800m) at an average of 16 days or less per well after the first two wells
- Target to drill 46 wells for Imperial Energy in 2008
