About the Company: Overview
The requirements of Imperial Energy Corp to construct oil producing wells cost and time efficiently was the driving force to create Rus Imperial Group (RIG).
Whilst founded initially to service Imperial’s significant drilling programme and in response to Imperial’s wish to utilise high quality well services in Western Siberia, RIG has developed into an independent company with its own state-of-the-art rigs, experienced management and highly skilled employees.
The lack of modern and efficient drilling equipment on the Russian market resulted in the fabrication of three British designed rigs in China. These rigs utilise the latest technology and are helicopter transportable to remote locations. RIG has also ordered a brand new workover rig to expand into workover/completion services and repair of oilfield equipment.
RIG has moved forward with its main assignment - drilling wells for Imperial Energy and has also stepped into the supervision role of the drilling operations for Imperial Energy in Kazakhstan.
RIG recognises the vital importance of people and values, and is determined to promote a culture of excellence. The company is committed to building its success by executing top class HSE standards, creating a competitive working environment and training its staff to international standards.
RIG has offices and facilities in Tomsk, Western Siberia, and currently employs around 300 people.
